This was just one of those images that I couldn't not share right away!
The lovely and incredibly talented, Rachael Coyle and I spent a wonderful afternoon together playing in the studio last week. Giving her beautiful pastries "the royal treatment", as Rachael put it.
If you are unfamiliar - Once the pastry chef of the Herbfarm, Le Pichet and Cafe Presse, Rachael has a very popular pop-up bakeshop that is held at Book Larder in Fremont (starting again in late March). She also hosts many cooking/baking classes at the same location, as she is the Culinary Director there. (BookLarder.com) Needless to say, her treats are AMAZING, and I highly recommend attending her next pop-up early, as pastries like the croissants pictured above tend to sell out quickly!
